From Memorial Day through mid-October, King Family Vineyards hosts Roseland Polo on Sunday afternoons—a beloved Charlottesville tradition of wine, sunshine, and sport. And when you ride with us, we’ve got your spot saved.

A Seat on the Sidelines (and in the Circle)

We reserve dedicated space on the polo field lawn exclusively for Monticello Wine Tour guests. It’s not private—but that’s the charm. You’ll join fellow wine lovers, locals, and travelers alike in a laid-back, curated setting perfect for:

Making new friends over a chilled glass of rosé
Watching ponies thunder down the field just feet away
Savoring the vineyard views with your group, blanket-style or under shad

Your Sunday, Elevated

Booking a custom Sunday tour isn’t just transportation—it’s your golden ticket to a quintessential Charlottesville experience. Come for the wine, stay for the polo, and leave with new stories (and maybe a few new friends).

Matches begin at 12:00 pm, and gates open at 10:00 am. Matches are scheduled every Sunday beginning Memorial Day weekend through the end of October on the field. Field and weather conditions permitting.

From July 6th – August 3rd, polo matches will be held at 5PM and 6:30PM. Gates for tailgating field side open at 4PM on these days.
